Moisture is mold’s best friend

In order for mold to grow it needs moisture. This moisture/mold EPA link is unfortunately focused on home moisture, but the same principles apply to moisture in vehicles. The first step in any mold remediation project is to identify the source of moisture and eliminate it. If this step is not completed properly, the mold will return when the moisture returns.
